Boy Scouts Selling Trails-End Popcorn Sunday Morning

Troop 1618 of the Boy Scouts of America, sponsored by St. John’s Episcopal Church and School, will be selling Trails End gourmet popcorn following Sunday services this week and next. Stop by the Scout’s table in front of Hunsaker Hall. Seventy percent of the proceeds from Boy Scout popcorn benefits Orange County scout camps, facilities, and programs. Thirty percent of the proceeds stay directly with Troop 1618. These funds are used to provide needed equipment for camping and programs as well as to provide “camperships” for scouts in need. To date Troop 1618 has produced eight Eagle Scouts out of approximately 50 scouts in the troop. Also, 1618 has a very high rate of scouts that earn all four Religious Emblems. Your support Troop 1618 and Scouting overall is greatly appreciated.
