School for Christian Living

Because Sunday mornings provide limited opportunity to explore our topics of study at a deeper, more time-sustained level, we offer a series of classes evenings from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Classes meet in the Bishop’s Room and in the past have covered such topics as Church History, the Isaiah Passages in Handel’s Messiah, Ethics After Easter, Addiction and Grace, Chocolate for Lent, and a look at The Windsor Report and its implications for the Anglican Communion.

St. John's Community Bible Study Meets Weekly

Join us each Tuesday at 7 p.m. for our community Bible study. On most Tuesdays we meet in the Bishop's Room (look for the notice in the weekly Blue Sheet for when we meet in the Multipurpose Room instead).  This study is intended for adults, younger people, couples, singles -- in other words, all are welcome! The other CBS rules are no homework, no wrong answers, and we'll have you on your way by 8 p.m. The best part of the study is always your comments and questions. We're studying Mark's gospel. See you there! (Lectio Divina is at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesdays in the Bride's Room, so considering coming to both for a mid-week spiritual tuneup.)
