Holiday Cards for a Purpose

A reminder: We’re collecting holiday cards, as well as all occasion cards (especially birthday and thank you cards) and sending them to St. Jude’s Ranch for Children. This is an ongoing program. St. Jude’s children participate in making new cards by removing the front and attaching a new back

(Hallmark, American Greetings, and Disney cards are not accepted.) The result is a beautiful new card made by the children and volunteers. The cards are sold in boxes of 10 for $17 and can be purchased by visiting The benefits are three-fold: your cards don’t end up in landfills, customers receive “green” cards for use, and the children receive payment for their work and learn the benefits and importance of “going green.”

Please drop your cards in the basket in the Narthex. And a special thanks to Faith Goldman for heading up this good green work!
