Girlfriends Summer Getaway – Friday – Sunday – July 24 – 26 – Omni Las Palmas Hotel & Spa, Rancho Mirage

Let us welcome “more fun and sun” and leave behind “must do and have to”.  So pack your vacation valise with your summer shades, wide brim hats and flip flops cause we’re heading to Rancho Mirage for our Annual Girlfriends Summer Getaway! Every once in a while we deserve a couple of days where no major decisions need to be made, no chores need to be done, no deadlines need to be met.

This year Tracy Daly, our in-house concierge/camp counselor, has arranged rooms for us at the lovely and outstanding Omini Las Palmas Hotel and Spa. Thank you, Tracy, for planning and doing the research!

We have chosen Las Palmas Hotel because of the abundance of amenities both the hotel and surrounding area have to offer.  At the hotel you can sit by the pool, get a spa treatment, and/or play a round of early morning golf or tennis. Across the street from the hotel is The River, a go-to destination for food, fashion and fun. Your choices of dining include everything from sushi to steaks. Too hot in the afternoon for you? You can take in a movie at The River’s Cinema Complex. Feel a need to do some shopping? El Paseo Shopping District is just a couple of miles down the road. Or maybe The Living Desert Zoo & Gardens is more your style. It is open during the summer from 8:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. and is just a 4-mile drive away.

And of course you can take a page from Little Women and do as follows: “What shall you do all your vacation?”, asked Amy. “I shall lie abed and do nothing.”, replied Meg. Amen to that!

The resort fee is $10 per room/per night, but the confirmation may say $29, but it has been contracted at $10.
Cancellation Policy: Cancel by 12pm on 7/21/15 to avoid being charged.

Cost is $118 per night (includes tax & resort fee)

Single Occupancy:
Cost is $236 per night (includes tax & resort fee)
