My sisters and brothers in Christ:

Please join us for worship on the Second Sunday after the Epiphany at 8 and 10 a.m. We’ll hear about Jesus’s miracle at Cana, “the first of his signs,” according to John’s unique account. If you’re intrigued by the fourth gospel and want to go deeper, we’re studying it each Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the St. John’s Bible Fellowship group, which meets in the Bishop’s Room after Lectio Divina at 5:30 p.m. in the Bride’s Room and fellowship at Starbucks at about 6:15. Taken together, it’s called Tuesday Tuneups. We’d love to see you there!

Please note that there is no Saturday service tomorrow (Jan. 16). Also, the church office will be closed on Monday in recognition of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.

larsslideOn Sunday, please join Linda Allport in the Bishop’s Room at 9 a.m. for a discussion of “Lars And The Real Girl,” an Academy Award and Golden Globe-nominated film starring Ryan Gosling about finding true love. It’s the second installment of our “Epiphany Search for God at the Movies.” If you haven’t seen it, you can rent it at Amazon.com by following this link:
