+ St. John’s worships on the 12th Sunday after Pentecost at 8 and 10 a.m., when we’ll hear Jesus’s teachings about being generous, being alert, and keeping our lamps lit. Please note that the Saturday evening and Wednesday services are on hiatus during August.
+ Sheryll Grogan and Lorraine Kamholz have issued an urgent appeal to St. John’s members for help this Sunday, Aug. 7 at 3 p.m. at Crossroads Church, 25991 Pala, Mission Viejo. St. John’s is a member of a six-church cooperative that shared this year’s magnificent VBS set. Crossroads is the last church to use it, and volunteers from all six churches are needed to tear the set down, put parts in storage for next year, and dispose of the rest. Please help St. John’s do its part by contacting Sheryll at(949) 292-8131 and volunteering on Sunday. Thank you!
