St. John’s will celebrate this Sunday, June 11, Trinity Sunday, when we worship as usual at 8 a.m. and 10 a.m.
St. John’s Serves
Join us at Isaiah House a home that offers shelter and assistance to homeless women tomorrow morning at 9:30 where we serve breakfast to the clients. Isaiah House is located at 316 South Cypress Avenue in Santa Ana.
We have our next regular food distribution at the RSM Cares Food Pantry scheduled for this coming Thursday, June 15 at The Bridge Church, 30162 Tomas Avenue in Rancho Santa Margarita. We need help anytime between Noon and 5 p.m. Please bring your donations (canned protein-based items: soups, chili, beans; pasta, pasta sauce; peanut butter, jelly; rice) to Church Sunday.
St. John’s Fellowships
St. John’s has a block of tickets in the Club Loge section for the Angels v. Kansas City Royals next Saturday, June 17. The game begins at 5:15 p.m. This event is open to adults and children of all ages. What a great opportunity for families to take their dads for a ballgame the evening before Father’s Day! Tickets are $19 per person. If you have signed up, please stop by the church office with your payment and to pick up your tickets. We have about 40 tickets still available, so it’s not too late!
St. John’s Hosts
Our friends at Chamber Music | OC (home of Trio Céleste and the Krechkovsky-Loucks Duo) will host their annual Rising Stars Recital featuring performances by amazing young chamber musicians this Sunday, June 11 at 4 p.m. at St. John’s Church. Come support the next generation of performing artists at this free event! A reception follows on the courtyard.

And a special note:
Dear People of St. John’s,
Thank you for your warm welcome, hospitality, and many kindnesses to me over this past month. I had a wonderful time being the “bridge” priest following Fr. John and preceding Fr. Christopher. May you continue to live in God’s grace and love!
With gratitude and love,
(The Rev. Karen Maurer)
