Two things need to be on your radar in the next several days!
Be on the bus! Talk to Mrs. Patti if you haven’t signed up yet for Youth Winter Retreat. We’re headed to El Capitan Canyon February 17-19, 2018!
First, Mrs. Patti says if you haven’t yet signed up for Youth Winter Retreat, you need to do so by Sunday, February 11. The retreat begins Saturday, February 17 with youth group members and leaders departing the St. John’s parking lot and heading up to the retreat site at El Capitan Canyon, just north of Santa Barbara. The theme for this year is “Respect Yourself” and continues through Monday, February 19. Mrs. Patti says, “We want you with us! And we’ll make room for you! Just send me an email at sjecyouthgroup@gmail.com!” Get your name on the list now! The cost is $225 for all youth grades 6-12. TWENTYSOMETHINGS are invited, too!
Second, Mrs. Patti says, “We’re very excited about The Great Vigil of Easter, and we need you to let us know ASAP if you’re able to participate! Spots are filling up and we need to know — also by this Sunday, February 11 — if you’re going to join us. The Vigil is Saturday, March 31, at 7 p.m. You’ll need to commit to being here at 4:30 that day for a final rehearsal and dinner. We will have a few short rehearsals prior but can work within your schedule… so let me hear from you!”
