Shrove Tuesday is February 13. Please join us for a scrumptious pancake supper (including sausage, bacon, and fruit) beginning at 6 p.m. in the Multipurpose Room. Pancakes will be flipped until about 7:30 p.m. Why pancakes, you may ask? Pancakes are associated with the day preceding Lent because they were a way to use up rich foods such as eggs, milk, and sugar, before the fasting season of the 40 days of Lent. The is a wonderful fellowship opportunity and a chance to get to know other church members over a shared meal. If you can help set up or clean up, let us know on the sign-up sheet, also. More pancake flippers needed, too. Please email Cindy in the Church Office,

Ash Wednesday Services On February 14. St. John’s will have two Ash Wednesday services on February 14. Plan to be with your church family either at Noon or 7 p.m. for Holy Eucharist and Imposition of Ashes. The St. John’s choir will join us for the evening service.
