Let’s get out and support the arts — and our neighbors at Community Lutheran Church — when it hosts the Augustana College Symphonic Band from Illinois, Sunday, February 18 at 4 p.m. The Augustana College Symphonic Band was founded in 1874 and has toured annually since 1883. In 1928, the band became one of the first American collegiate bands to tour Europe. They have visited 29 states and performed at such notable venues as Orchestra Hall in Chicago and the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC. This in an unticketed event with a freewill offering. The church is at 30322 Via Con Dios, RSM.
