If you’re setting up your weekend plans, here’s an idea:
• Make a point to get to Sunday’s Faith Formation Hour. Beginning this Sunday, and running for three weeks, FFH is focusing on presentations and discussions about end-of-life decisions. The three-week class is called “Through Death Into Life”. This Sunday’s discussion on legal instructions will be lead by Andrea Patton.
• The following two FFHs, on March 11 and 18, will focus on medical decisions, and spiritual considerations around the ends of our lives.
• We meet at 9 a.m. in the Bishop’s Room. Plan to attend Saturday’s 5 p.m. Holy Eucharist, or a Sunday service at 9 or 10 a.m.
As Christians, we live with the knowledge that one day we will leave this world. If we wrestle now with some preparation, we can leave our loved ones with additional peace. May God’s peace and blessings be upon you and your loved ones.
