Orange County Needs Food Pantry Donations — Here’s How We Can Help:
Our Women’s Ministry is partnering with RSM Cares Food Pantry and Saddleback Community College to donate much needed specific items for our local sisters and brothers.
Most of us don’t have to choose between buying groceries or paying the rent. So we’re gathering some specific items in the coming weeks — see the flyer for the items needed. We’ll greet you at the drop-off with music, warm greetings, and our friendly eyes — and smiles behind our masks!
No need to get out of your vehicle — just pop your trunk and masked and gloved volunteers will grab your grocery donations. The first ten cars get a $10 gift card to local restaurant Tutto Fresco.
• Saturday, June 13 — 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
• Donation drop-off in the turn-around by the Church Office
Can’t get out to do a little extra grocery shopping? No worries! If you’d like to make a small donation to St. John’s Church, either electronically or by mail (marked for Food Pantry), we’ll do the shopping for you!
St. John’s people are best when they are doing for others. Your clothes donations exceeded expectations, so let’s see what we can do to supplement our local food pantries!
