Our first in-person worship service during COVID was held at St. John’s today, Saturday, August 1, 2020 at 5 p.m. in the courtyard. It was:

   • powerful to worship together in person
   • comforting to see the church and be on the courtyard
   • heartwarming to see Revs. Christopher and Karen engaging in their callings to nurture, teach, and administer the sacraments

The church is really the people, but the people have a home, and it was nice to be home. Amen? Amen!

The maximum attendance allowed by the State of California was 34 people, and that’s how many people walked onto campus to an extraordinarily well thought out and very safe gathering. Check out the video!

How do you sign-up for the next in-service worship? The next in-person worship is Saturday, August 8, at 5 p.m. Registration for that service will be available Sunday, August 2, at 9 a.m., via the “register for in-person worship” button on the website’s home page, just above this post. The button will be visible at 9 a.m. Sunday.

Space is very limited, due to State of California guidelines.
