May God’s protection, peace and abundant grace be with us all.
The community of St. John Chrysostom is prepared to gather again for outdoor worship beginning this Sunday at 9 a.m. This service shall only happen if Orange County reduces its COVID risk status from purple to red, as it is planning so to do.
This service will also be live-streamed. Look for information about logging on in my Saturday e-blast.
At the service, we’ll share Word and Sacrament (only in the form of bread), with a few precautions:
1. Please be in good health. If you or anyone in your household has or recently had any symptoms associated with COVID-19, please stay home.
2. All attendees are required to register before coming. If you don’t receive a confirmation email from your registration, please do it all again and watch carefully for the final steps. (If, by some wild wonder, we get near our capacity (probably over 200), we will close the registration and let you know.
3. Please bring your own chair.
4. We must maintain 6’ distancing from all non-family groups.
5. Please bring a mask and wear it throughout the service (except to receive communion).
6. Use the hand sanitizer provided FREQUENTLY, and wash your hands thoroughly if you use the restroom.
7. There can be no singing as we gather this Sunday, despite our strong temptations.
8. The bulletin will be emailed to you prior to the service, if you wish to print yours. Bulletins will not be provided at Church.
9. Please bring your electronic device (iPads, tablets, phone) and connect to the guest wifi signal at the school. The network name is StJohns-Student and the password is stJOHNS6uest (look carefully at upper/lower case and letters/numbers)
Rev. Karen and I are very excited to welcome you once again to YOUR HOME for worship and Holy Communion!
God is with us.
