Our annual Thanksgiving Food Drive is here! 

Our 2021 goal is to provide Thanksgiving meals for 300 families in need. To reach — or exceed! — our goal we need help. Can you pitch in and buy food, help pack bags, and hand out meal bags on distribution day in mid-November? 

Meals are distributed through the RSM Cares Food Pantry. The food shopping list is right here.

Here’s our timeline:

• All donations are needed by Monday, November 15 and may be dropped off at St. John’s Church Monday through Friday during office hours.

• Bag packing day is at St. John’s Saturday and Sunday, November 13 and 14, 1 to 4 p.m. Community members are invited to help pack bags; your help is greatly appreciated! Please email Roger Bradshaw to let him know you’ll help. If you have questions, call Roger: 949.505.4663.  Items brought to the office Monday, November 15 will be packed that day. 

• Help and vehicles are needed to load bags into transport vehicles at St. John’s beginning at 10am on Wednesday, November 17. It’s a short drive from the church to the RSM Cares Food Pantry location.

• Distribution of bags to the families is Wednesday, November 17 from 2 to 5 p.m. at Shepherd of the Hills United Methodist Church, 30605 Ave. de Las Flores, RSM.
