About the Event
Pass the Pack is Back! The Church is asking for donations of toiletries, backpacks, and/or cash/checks to support our Southern Orange County unhoused community. We had one successful distribution back in December and we would like to distribute again in April. The date for our next distribution is Sunday April 6th . We invite volunteers to help assemble the items after service. Our unhoused brothers and sisters are in need of essential items like socks, small bottled waters, protein bars, hand sanitizer, mints, toothbrush, toothpaste, wipes, combs, and brushes. The filled backpacks will be given out at Doheny State Park Beach at 1:30pm that same afternoon.
Please make your cash/check donations payable to St. John’s Episcopal Church. Please drop off backpacks/toiletries in the church office or in the church narthex. For more information, contact Maddy Cates or Lisa Naulls at (949) 306-5135. Thank you.
